We were lucky to get a room with an ocean view. Not only that but the owners were exceptional. Our bags went missing and they went to extraordinary lengths to find them. We cannot thank them enough. Although we didn't eat our evening meal there as we had eaten earlier, the dining area was full and we had a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your fabulous hotel

The apartment has everything needed and much more. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are food and beverage available included in the price. Wash machine and dryer are also available. The location is perfect, with the best views in town and very quiet. You must walk a bit up the hill, but is more than worth it!! There is a super market very close with all you need (even clothes and shoes), a bakery…. But the best of all are the hosts, Valeriano and Alvaro. They help you with everything you need, are very kind and make you feel like home. 💚

I loved this little casa! It was one of my favorite holiday apartment rental experiences in memory. If you are doing the Camino Portuguese da Costa, make this a stop! Or if you just love beautiful historic beach towns, choose this one. Starting with the fast, friendly communication with the host, and easy key box check-in. The little casa is in a renovated building right in the historic town center, previously associated with the big medieval Monastery within view. The walls are a few hundred years old, but the interior has been smartly renovated with modern conveniences, and uses the small old space in a perfectly sensitive and lovely way. It’s clear that architecture and design were a priority in this rebuild and I really appreciated that. There are two bedrooms on two floors, each with directly attached toilets and showers enclosed in a very efficient and smart way. (Note: if you are two or more people who want separate bedrooms and bathrooms, choose to book the whole space rather than just half.) The three-way showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water, which was much appreciated after a long day on the Camino. The beds have memory foam mattresses and pillows, making for the best night of sleep we had in Spain, by far. WiFi was decent, and there were helpful local resources in the apartment. There was even a Camino stamp! There isn’t laundry in the flat, but the host was kind enough to direct us next door to a coin operated lavanderia which was honestly a good and easy laundry experience for €8, and a good way to pass time before the restaurants open for dinner. This was such a comfortable, lovely place to experience this beautiful part of Spain, I would recommend it to anyone and definitely hope to return.

The best place I’ve staying in during the Camino. Lovely staff, lovely rooms, lovely garden right at the ocean, lovely atmosphere!!! I’m strongly considering coming back just for a ‘normal’ vacation because this place is truly beautiful. Also, amazing breakfast!!!

The location in a very peaceful and quiet village high above the sea makes the charm of this place. Old stone houses, blooming flowers and even donkeys which can graze freely around the area give this place a very special touch. Despite the remote location, WIFI is working fast and shower pressure is excellent. Without a car a little bit difficult to get to, but I guess it is also suitable for pilgrims passing by on the Portuguese Camino. Owners very quiet, kind and friendly people. Did not regret a second to have booked this place!

It was perfectly clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything was just perfect. We were even surprised with a tasty cake, coffee and cold water. We were alone at that time, so it was really huge for us. The view from the room was also incredible- the sea😍 Amazing host, highly recommended!

    Oia is stunning.

    Oia is stunning. A quaint seaside village with beautiful old buildings and green paddocks full of stunning horses and cattle. I loved the little cove/beach as it’s calm and quiet. I will be back for a longer stay in the future. Beautiful walks along the coast which is part of the Litoral Camino. We tried two restaurants in town and one a bit further out. Great food and service. Loved Oia.

    Stunning view from top of the city, we could watch the sun set while sitting down on the sofa from living room, and you could also see the town from the window as well. The host was very accommodating, they communicated via WhatsApp and we're very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Oia.

    The best hosts on the Caminho. The best home cooked meal on the Senda Litoral. [see Pictures]. The room was very clean and the kitchen area has everything you need. I recommend this guesthouse I Oia for anyone wanting to break their Caminho walk between Aguarda and Baiona.

    Everything was just amazing. I have no words really. Absolutely beautiful place outside and inside. Carmen is great host and always happy to help. Secret garden is like a heaven on earth. This place is MUST stay when passing through Oia village.
