A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Photos: The Bridge and Town at Besalu, The lake at Banyoles with early snow on the mountains, the 'common room' at La Fustana, and the morning view from there.

The apartment was extremely clean and was very practical for what we needed. The host and her family are very hospitable, accommodating and friendly. They are very respectful of your privacy and space yet always available for any question or need you may have. There are friendly dogs and cats and cows surrounding the property (worry not! Theres a fence keeping them outside the property garden). The surroundings are breathtaking and the infinity pool to die for. Very quiet location yet easy to drive to nearby destinations.

I had an exceptional stay at Can Clothas Hotel Masia. The setting is simply beautiful—a charming old masia surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, blending authenticity with modern touches. A special mention goes to Claudia, who works here: she is absolutely wonderful. Always smiling, warm, and attentive, she truly makes a difference. Thanks to her, you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Her hospitality and professionalism really stand out! I highly recommend this place, both for its peaceful atmosphere and the quality of the welcome
