    El Ejido is a small working town.

    El Ejido is a small working town. It is great to use as a base to travel to the coast by car, Almeria (40 minutes), shopping centres, the coast (20 to 30 minutes)etc. This part of the country is dominated by the factory farming under covered growing frames, so not as pretty as some areas further along the coast. This area does not have a high end boutiques, If you want these then you'll need to go to one of the larger cities.

    We had our car towed and then couldn’t convince the local...

    We had our car towed and then couldn’t convince the local police that USA travelers can drive pn their US license without an international license for 90 days. It was a real hassle … small town police don’t know International law. They refused to return our rental car until we found a local with a Spanish license to “accept” our car for us. Total BS.

    Raul was an amazing host!

    Raul was an amazing host! The apartment was as pictured and he provided excellent communication! Would definitely stay here again! Casa Juan restaurant out the garage way made us an amazing paella while we watched the soccer game- very friendly people in Balerma! La Spezia great place to get coffee in mornings beachside.

    Clean, simple, comfortable place exactly what I like, everything I needed was there. Great view from the huge balcony. Great bed, comfortable bathroom, hot shower, 24 hour reception. Great coffee in the adjoining cafe bar but got ignored by the gentleman in charge. I wish I had found out earlier that the air con only works with the room key.. Will surely stay again when in El Ejido

    I really liked the hotel. Rooms and bathroom are clean, bad is comfortable. Since there is self check-in there is no problem to come late in the evening. staff attitude is excellent
