Beautifully restored Spanish property which has been decorated to a very high standard. Gorgeous rooms, lounge, kitchen and dining area. Really tasty breakfast, tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice provided every morning by the owners, who are truly lovely people. Would definitely stay again, can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely loved my stay in this beautiful and lovingly curated place. The location is perfect - right in the heart of a magical village with a charming plaza, wonderful restaurants, unique little shops, and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. I slept incredibly well, and everything about the space felt serene and special. The owner is warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented. You can really feel the love in every detail - from the fresh flowers and lovely nuts to the traditional wine waiting in the room. Everything was spotless and well organized. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to come back.

This is a hostel located right in the centre of Competa, communal kitchen all brand new, tea & coffee provided, very large communal space. Bedroom & bathroom tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rafa the host was very helpful and always contactable. We will be returning on our next visit to Competa.

    A beautiful Pueblo Blanco, with quiet, narrow streets, stunning architecture and fantastic restaurants. It's worth the extra drive up the mountain, and it's easy to get back down to the beaches when you want to.

    Lovely little town (village) some small places around ti visit as well. Bike rental shop in the centre, lots of restaurants, bars, some flat paths buts mainly up and down the hill. Safe, quiet place, great community.Good internet signal in town.

    Cómpeta is a small, beautiful and quaint little town on the Andalusia mountains, surrounded by wineries and winding roads. Cute little restaurants, bars and cafés for eating or watching the world go by. You can drive to the town square but it's easiest to walk around and explore the little alleys and shops. It has a slight hippie vibe to it with many crystal shops. Very queer friendly. We spotted raindow flags all around the city and tons of queer folk. Would recommend for anyone looking for a little escape from the city.

    A lovely little town with great small shops and two medium sized grocery stores where you can get everything you need for the stay. On Saturdays a lovely little market in the town square with local produce and textiles.

    A lovely location.

    A lovely location. Well worth visiting this incredible Spanish village. Very welcoming and friendly. Evening meal enjoyed at small restaurant in the central square enjoyed immensely. Great experience exploring and wandering the streets of the Old Town and experiencing what one imagines is the real Spanish lifestyle. Town market on Saturday. Several streets fairly steep and suggest bearing this in mind.

    The Owners Martin & Christianne are wonderful friendly hosts and want to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. They have renovated the property to a very high standard. They have carefully thought about equipping the studio and we had everything that was needed. The swimming pool is large and great to swim in. Nice area by the pool to relax. Very easy walking distance into Competa. We’d recommend this place to our friends and to other guests.

    Anthony & Ian are the best hosts, and Casa Jardin is a gem of a place just moments from the main square and the numerous excellent bars and restaurants Competa has to offer! Unfortunately, we missed the ceremonial filling of the new swimming pool by a day or two, but this new addition looks amazing and will no doubt make Casa Jardin even better!     When I visited this place, it opened just a few months. You have to think of it as a hotel where you can use the kitchen, the lobby, the dining area, the roof terrace,... the design and furnishing was sober but cosy! Also the fact that you can kook yourselves in a very large kitchen (8 pits, 2 sinks, many different worktops,...) is a real real plus. If you need to be in that area, this is a must-go.
