Can Pastilla, in the midst of it all!

Location is definitely one of the best assets of Can Pastilla, considering that it’s situated a 5-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from Palma’s Old Town. Although today sun lovers populate its golden beaches and hotels, Can Pastilla was only a small fishing village 60 years ago, no more than a hamlet growing around the small church of San Antonio de la Playa. It is also fair to say that Can Pastilla is relatively calmer than other resorts in the area.

    Honestly don't get why you'd come here.

    Honestly don't get why you'd come here. The beach was nice, the bars were alright but you're on a Spanish island and this town has no Spanish in it. Its an English town with loads of Germans down the road in Arenal. Come here if you want to be overcharged on poor hotels, see cockroaches roaming the streets, be served overpriced cocktails by English staff. Don't come here if you want a true Spanish trip. For that I'd recommend Palma itself or somewhere in the north of the island.

    Can Pastilla is a very peaceful town with a large, beautiful beach and many great places to walk. The promenade to Palma is perfect for running. Unlike Palma, it’s quiet and relaxing, with excellent restaurants. Highly recommended!

    We stayed at Hotel Illusion Calma where Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Great variety & quality of food at both breakfast & dinner. We had a lovely corner room with balcony over pool, beds & pillows very comfy and housekeeping excellent. Location is so good, beach just a few minutes walk away & you can also walk along the coast all the way to Palma, fabulous! Can Pastille has lovely mix of locals who seem very happy to be surrounded by tourists All inclusive is fantastic value.

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud...

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud as it resides the north part of playa de Palma. the south part is more busy with loud tourist, but at midnight all loud public music is turned off.

    A bit of a dated resort, but nice hotels and good restaurants, very close to the airport, so short transfer times and you have the beautiful beaches of playa de palma at walking distance, and als very close the Palma city. Ideal location for someone that likes to combine a city trip with a beach holiday.

    We loved Carlos’ place! We were a large group and so we rented out all four apartments for the weekend. All of the apartments are modern, well equipped and were spotlessly clean when we arrived. The outdoor spaces with each apartment are lovely and you have a great view of the sea from the upstairs apartments. The beach and the bars and restaurants of Can Pastilla are right on your doorstep, and Palma is just a short taxi ride away - Carlos kindly helped us to arrange taxis whenever we were heading out of Can Pastilla.

The indoor pool provided a refreshing escape, while the private spa—featuring two types of saunas and a jacuzzi—was the perfect touch of relaxation.     The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, yet you don’t hear any planes. Breakfast is generous – as with typical hotel breakfasts, some will like it, some won’t, but I personally enjoyed it. Easy direct bus connection from the airport, and also buses from Palma de Mallorca. Parking can be tricky unless you’re driving a really small car like a Fiat 500.

    I like that was very close to beach - few min walking and close to airport - 5 min drive by coach ( €5 or by taxi €11 ). Bus stop is just few minutes from the hotel. To the capital Palma bus cost € 2. I like that breakfast was good, nice variety of food. Plus reception stuff is very nice, helpful.

    I appreciate that the hotel is on the first line with an incredible view from the top floor. Also, the food was really tasty, with different meals served every time (in the all inclusive). The staff was very friendly, especially Simona who was very kind to us.
