Incredible location right on the lake bank, just next to pier. Very nice staff, excellent local food, very attentive Bavarian/Asian waiter (I do not know his name), adequate price of food. Free parking. few minutes to train station to Munich.

The room was well laid out, comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. I felt well looked after and safe and as a solo traveller, this is something I appreciate greatly. There is a popular restaurant but the rooms are well above so no noise or smells from the kitchen. The beautiful Ammersee lake is just across the street, lovely to walk by and relax.

    Small town with everything available for your stay.

    Small town with everything available for your stay. Cute, quaint, great gasthaus food. Lake and historic Klostery brewery near by. Great place to stay and do daily trips/sightseeing from. Very close to Munich, Salzburg, Zugspitz(Alps!), Neuschwanstein castle.
