The cleanliness of the room was top notch. Usually in some hotels you find those hidden spots where there is some dust which has not been done well. Here everything was spic and span. The room size was great with ample space to move around, two chairs and small table inside and another 2 chairs in the balcony (which however is shared with the neighbouring room with no partition for privacy / security). Bathroom was good size to move around. Room was on first floor and although there were other guests, it was absolutely quiet from that point of view. Breakfast was more than enough , and cannot understand the comments about not being enough. Full continental with different cheeses and hams, variety of bread roll and multitude of jams and honey, boiled eggs, good choice of herbal teas. Staff readily available for any demands during breakfast.

Everything in the hotel was what we were looking for. The exception was the evening restaurant which for us was above standard for this category of hotel. The menu was different each day and the food on offer was amazing. The dessert had our taste buds singing, each spoonful was a pleasure. Service was very good as well.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The Basilica is breathtaking, as is the Bavarian mountain scenery. There is a beautiful Chapel too. The breakfast is excellent and you have restaurants and the canteen to choose from. For me the spirituality of this Catholic pilgrimage site was really special.
