Loved the location, it was only a 5 minute walk to get into nature (as can be seen on the three attached pictures), and within a 15 minute car ride there were incredible views! facilities: the house had everything we needed. Had two good pans and loads of cooking pots. Missed a spatula, but we bought one and left it, so it should help!

This large apartment was a spacious, comfortable, and clean. Set in a fantastic location, the view from the private balcony was spectacular. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, we had fresh bread delivered to our door daily which was baked directly beneath us and we were able to purchase supplies from the farm shop. We especially enjoyed the wonderful BBQ selection which we cooked in the glorious sun. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine full of fresh beans was much appreciated. We travelled on motorbikes and were able to keep these under cover in one of the barns which was most appreciated.

Such a great hotel. The room was absolutlely great. Spacious. Everything in it were really clean and comfortable. All the staff were kind, friendly and motivated. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Really as good as it can get. And since we travel by train, the proximity to the current station was extra convenient.

    Wonderful little 'classic' German city.

    Wonderful little 'classic' German city. Highly recommended for the waterfall area( Allerheiligen-Wasserfälle ), the German bakeries around, the cycling and trekking routers. Also recommended, is visiting the International center of Art of Living which is located in Bad Antogast, 10 mins from Oppenau by car.

    Staff were all excellent, extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant is superb. I didn't like that there was no air-conditioning..it was hot during the night. Location is superb I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant If I will come back to that area during winter, definitely will go there

    Fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful couldn’t ask for a nicer welcome - beautiful hotel : immaculate, clean and you could feel the passion for their business in everything , food was exceptional thank you for a truly wonderful stay and the garage for our motorbike was the icing on the cake - we will return without doubt- a wonder stay.

    Perfect base to explore the Rench Valley, including many and varied walks through the Black Forest. The property is in the heart of Oppenau, not far from the train station, supermarket and cafes. Many hours can be enjoyably spent on the balcony watching the world go by.

    This is a lovely hotel and the staff made me very welcome as a solo traveller with my pets. I had a lovely room with a fabulous view and the bed was extremely comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were magnificent.
