We had a magical stay with the most amazing New Year Dinner. The restaurant food is very very good. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful sight, delicious with everything you could possibly want! The hotel decor is visually interesting and uplifting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The village of Ayl is a pretty rural setting and well worth a visit.

The place is clean, cosy and so well located. went for business trip as not far away from main cities around for good price but I think a weekend there would have been nice too. Staff is welcoming and helpful. breakfast is correct and you have everything you need - hotel staff organised it for the hour I needed it and one person was there to ask if something else is needed.

A great hotel the owner could not of been more helpful easy cheap car parking, a great location, great facilities good food it was a good hotel and we had a great relaxing time. The manager also upgraded the room as well which was a great gesture. .

    The hotel is located next to a station on the line along the Moselle between Perl and Trier. It has a sufficiently large parking area and my single room was large, quiet and with a generous-sized balcony. In the same building is a restaurant (run by an unrelated company) with tasty German and Indian cuisine. A broad verandah outside the retaurant offers relaxing space for a beer or a wine. This restaurant closes at 9pm. There is no breakfast but a 5-minute walk away there is a village bakery that also offers breakfasts.

    The Mühlengarten is right at the bus stop in Nittel and straight across the train station, so if you don't have a car, you have direct access to public transport within Germany and towards Luxemburg as well. If you have a car, there is a big parking lot. If you only plan to stay in Nittel for a day or two and otherwise you'd only use the room for sleeping, it's cheap. Wifi was okay.

    It is a ghost hotel. During my stay (one week) I haven't spotted any member of the staff. The single room is small and there was no cleaning service during my stay. Poor Wifi speed.
