    There are currently SBhan works affecting the line between the airport and the Sbhan ring. You need to use busses located outside of the station. It may be best to take the regional train to Oestkreuz and then the S Bhan from there.

    Berlin is very clean and the air is much fresher than UK cities. The trams are frequent, clean and orderly. The people are well-mannered polite and respectful towards tourists. Berlin Central train station is a sight to behold. it is modern, immaculately clean and serves the trains and underground system. In comparison, London falls way behind Berlin

    Berlin is a relaxed and easy city.

    Berlin is a relaxed and easy city. It's also very clean and feels safe. Once you understand the transport systems it's easy to get around, though finding the right underground stations can be a challenge. Food options are great and lots for vegans and vegetarians. There's lots to see and do with museums of every kind. If you have time try some of the more obscure ones. We loved the Magic Museum which had lots of interactive things for adults and children / teens over about 9yrs. It's small but you can spend hours in there! For something different get out of the city and go to Teufelsberg which was a spy station during the cold war and is now eerily left as it was but covered with amazing street art.

    Berlin is a great place to visit, loads of history to explore, public transport very easy to use, people very friendly and I felt quite safe . It's amazing how the city has been restored to such a style after being so bombed and also after the 'cold war' . Brandenberg gate is a wonderful area to visit.

    There is so much history, many fine buildings, museums of all kinds and boat cruises galore! Transport is excellent, particularly if you have a Berlin Welcome card or a Public transport card. The U Bahn and S Bahn maps are easy to follow and there is so much to do and see; one of the truly great cities of the world!

    We loved learning more of the history of Berlin and seeing...

    We loved learning more of the history of Berlin and seeing the reconstruction that took place after the devastation of the Second World War. The memorials to those murdered in the war were powerful and sobering and we appreciated the efforts by the people of Germany to acknowledge their part in that dark part of history. We searched out German food and enjoyed some great meals. Several great places we ate were close to our hotel and that was especially convenient. The transportation on the trams and subway was excellent. It made exploring the large city easy. Don't miss seeing the Topography of Terror museum. Free to visit and a very moving experience.

    One of the nicest places we have stayed. Great location, very close to ubahn and sbahn and walkable into city centre. We did all three options. The staff were lovely and the stand out was the garden. So nice being able to come back after a day exploring and sit in an oasis of calm. And we were so pleased that Maxi-cat (hotel cat) came to see us a few times. He is a lovely boy. Will 100% stay again next time in Berlin.

    The hotel itself was clean and located in a calm part of Berlin. The place is close to the bus station. However, you'll spent from 1 to 1,5 hours to reach to the city centre. Nearby there is an Italian restaurant and supermarket.
