My first challenge was to find the right entrance. It was not easy to find. I had to knock on a few doors, as there are no numbers on those buildings. But once I found it, the next challenge was the language barrier. Luckily, we found a way to understand each other and I was greeted with warmth. Breakfast was included, which was a plus and the room was just amazing. A huge double bed, an amazing view towards the river and the windows have automatic blinds, to enhance the privacy and to stop the noise made by the passing cars and trains. It felt like one of those retreats where all you do is sit in silence. As mentioned in the title, it is a shame that the season was not right, because it was at the beginning of the spring and the nature has not blossomed yet. So I would definitely recommend coming in April or May, or you prefer the more busy period, than come in the summer. Overall, 10/10 for me. Also, a tip for the newcomers: the closest airport is Frankfurt Main, not Frankfurt Hahn. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

The apartment was impeccably clean and exceptionally comfortable. As we were traveling with our child, they thoughtfully prepared a separate bed just for him. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We look forward to returning for another visit!
