Great ski slopes, a lot of different restaurants, amazing hiking paths and a great view. The locals are welcoming and there's always something fun going on. Very nice and beautiful town. The town itself as well as the area around it. Before going there, I was a bit concerned about the car free zone, but it turned out to be very easy to park the car, and very easy to get around in the relatively small town. The views are breathtaking and we loved the location in Grächen. You have parking at the property and it’s just a short stroll to the supermarket and restaurants. The Chalet is equipped with everything you could possibly need with a fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom. It was really easy to visit Zermatt from here as well. The apt had everything we needed (3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), even the kitchen was very well equipped, including small items like coffee, salt, etc. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! We also had 1 parking spot directly at the door of the house/balcony, which was super convenient, plus another spots could be purchased for little money, which is very valuable in Grachen.
