Hotels in Colchani are the best location if your target is to visit the Salar de Uyuni. It is right at its limit. And it has local souvenirs, wool clothing on the local market. The hotel is modern and made almost entirely of salt which is quite unique. Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good.
