Naracoorte is a lovely town with friendly locals.
Naracoorte is a lovely town with friendly locals. It is large enough to have options for food and dining, with many green spaces and parks for families to enjoy without the crowd of a city. It is a great base to explore the wider limestone coast as it is quite easy to

Naracoorte is a mid-sized country town with great facilities and hospitality. The famous Naracoorte caves are close as well as famous wine regions. Within an hour there are beaches, more wine regions, a major rural city. It's less than 5 hours to Melbourne and three hours to Adelaide.

The caves are breathtaking.
The caves are breathtaking. Swimming lake is huge, well staffed and crystal clear. It's a wonderful place to spend a summer afternoon. Friendly and helpful locals. Great place from which to explore the wineries and Linestone Coast.

The caves which are 7kms south of the motel are a great place to visit. The motel has a 10% discount voucher which was a bonus. We used the hotels wifi to book online. About a kilometre from the motel their is a swimming lake which is chlorinated and has areas for all ages. Best of all it is free! Then there are the museums and the info centre, the shops and coffee spots.

The location suited us perfectly - visiting local wineries and the Naracoorte Caves. The breakfast provisions were tasty: juice, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, bread, coffee (could have provided more pods for 4 people), milk. We did think there might have been eggs to go with the bacon & sausages…
Breakfast was offered at a Hotel nearby but we couldn't afford to go there.
Facilities to make a simple breakfast in our room would have been helpful.
We liked the beds, the environment, air conditioning and friendly cleaner as we left.

Wonderful secluded area of Naracoorte, not in town centre but quiet part. The rooms were spacious, equipped with just the right amount of furniture and lighting. Bathroom facilities were easy to use.
