A beautiful little town on the banks of the Murray River and Gunbower Creek adjoining many, many square kilometres of red gum forest located about 300 kms north-west of Melbourne (about a 3 to 3.5 hour drive at moderate speed) and a place where outdoors' people and sports-lovers alike will be in their paradise. Lots of opportunities close to or in the town for activities such as camping, fishing, swimming and walking to name but a few, plus close to a terrific golf course across the river in Barham, heaps of tennis courts, most of them lawn courts, and a swimming pool. A top destination irerespective of the season,

Koondrook is one of Victoria's forgotten and unspoiled gems!

Koondrook is one of Victoria's forgotten and unspoiled gems! It is a good base for bird watchers being relatively close to the Kerang lake district as well as Gunbower Island, the Creek and the Murray.
