Permet is a nice small city but with very good and hospitable people with a great history. It is called "the city of roses" because of the multi kinds of roses that grows in the city. We really enjoyed our time in Përmet.
We really enjoyed our time in Përmet. The town was surprisingly clean compared to bigger tourist cities – no piles of garbage and no unpleasant smells, which made it very pleasant to walk around. It’s also much quieter, which we really appreciated. We ate at Bar Restaurant Lulishte, and I can’t recommend it highly enough – the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Getting around Përmet is quite easy since it’s a small town, and the beautiful landscapes make every walk enjoyable. I liked Permet a lot!
I liked Permet a lot! It is a small town, so you see it in a single day but there is a beautiful river passing through it, and it is surrounded by mountains. There is a range of activities to do around Permet like rafting, hiking, canyoning. Permet is a very different feel to other places we have been...
Permet is a very different feel to other places we have been too in Albania, Permet is very laid back, different from Gjirokastër. Plenty of cafes/bars and a couple of nice restaurants. Not a lot to see and do but nice for a couple of days. People are friendly. The thermal baths were a disappointment if honest but it’s a nice place for a night or 2 especially if you like hiking or want to climb up the big rock in the centre of town! 😃Guest review byLynetteUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you love the outdoors, this would be a great destination! There is hiking, mountain, bike, trails, and rafting tours available in the river. Probably the most outdoorsy town we visited in Albania on our trip. Unfortunately, we only had half of one day and half of another, so I would’ve loved to stay for a few more days and explore the area a bit more.
