Superb location overlooking the river, and an excellent spot to watch the sunrise. Clean, peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast and the restaurant were good.

The River Resort is 8 km from the World Heritage site of Wat Phou. It offers stylish air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi.

Great resort at the Mekong. Very nice staff, tasty food. We enjoyed our stay very much. One of the best resorts in Laos.

The rooms are clean and equipped with an icy aircon. All facilitys are kept in great shape and feel modern at a very good pricepoint. Through the hostel i rented a scooter (which was like brand new) and booked bus-tickets to 4000 Island and Thakek. I had a pretty tight schedule but it all worked out perfectly thanks to the organisation by Thien & Chris who are true professionals and great to chat with. So all in all great hostel, great staff, best stay.

The most professional service we've encountered on our Laos travels. On arrival, we got a lift by the owner from the boat to guesthouse and received a warm welcome. The room was just spectacular - grand view of Mekong from the balcony (sunrise over the river definitely worth waking up a little earlier!), large bed and bathroom and the best toilet we've encountered in all Laos. The guesthouse has a restaurant serving delicious Lao, Asian and Western meals and staff was very helpfull and friendly. In addition, the town of Champassak is so nice, clean and green - a pleasant change after Vientiane, Pakse etc. If you're visiting this area, Nakorn Guesthouse is highly recommended!

Breakfast was very nice and generous options. Dinner was very nice too especially the bbq which we had in our own private space. Staff we exceptional and very friendly and kind. Manager was an absolute delight and went over and above to make sure we had the best time.
