We stayed in the 2 BR villa called the Farmhouse, in a fully enclosed and secure area populated by wandering wildebeest, springbok and other birds and animals. The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

We enjoyed the tent. It was clean. They had provided everything you could need for a self catering place.

There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

The property had an excellent view over the bushveld. It was peaceful and felt secluded. The kitchen and braai facilities were plentiful. Shared the property site with a few ostriches, impala, wildebeest. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Letamo is a beautiful property, just 3 hours from Johannesburg. Everything - the rooms, the food, the staff and service, the ambiance, the services including the game drives and spa and padel courts - were all exceptional. We went for my husband’s birthday and they made it so special without me even asking. All staff were informed and went the extra mile. A special thanks to Lerato at dining and Hloni the game drive guide who were the best!

Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

If you’re looking at this review, book this accommodation! You will stay in a beautifully designed intimate lodge that is spotless and clean, with hosts that are true masters of hospitality. Every detail is considered with care, everything you need will be handled. For the price they far exceeded our expectations. You will receive 5+ star service, incredible food, and (if you wish) great conversation. We will personally tell anyone we know coming to the area to stay here. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.
