Not only was the food (even catered for vegan) fantastic, but the ability to hike and mountain bike around this huge reserve gave us real freedom to experience the land and wildlife. The tents are equipped with air conditioning, a fireplace and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, washbasin and flushing toilet. It was in a great location and the facilities were perfect.

The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Everything was just perfect, starting and ending with the people who did everything and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our guide Christopher was very knowledgeable and experienced, therefore able to find so much game, big and small. The reserve is exceptionally beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset, when we had our game drives. The food was really exquisite, as well as the local wines which were included. Every staff member, from our guide, people at the restaurant, at the reception and the management where very attentive and friendly. We only missed out on the cheetahs, so definitely coming back one day!
