Everyone we met was friendly and eager to make our 2 nights memorable. The room was incredible and is among the nicest I’ve had while in Africa. It’s right up there with the top lodges in game reserves. They had no issue bringing you down to the parking area anytime we wanted to leave and they were always available to pick you up upon returning. The pool and bar area were great to relax around in the afternoons and the quaint living and dining room was comfortable to spend time in during the evenings before dinner.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

Menawarkan pemandangan taman, J&B Lodge mempunyai penginapan dengan patio dan cerek, kira-kira 6.9km dari Himeville Museum. Barry was an exceptional host. Very welcoming and told us about the area and told us lots of fascinating stories about his life. Highly recommend the cottage, it had everything we needed and was close by to a Spar to get food. We went to the Sani Pass and Lesotho extended trip which is a must when you're staying in the area. Barry can organize this for you!

The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. we love the location, the view from the lodge is beautiful. everything was above what we expected , nicely furnished, very clean, well maintained, very good fresh home made food, and very nice staff.
