I recently stayed at Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha on Príncipe Island and had a wonderful experience. The guesthouse is beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff, Bete and Tonguinha, are incredibly friendly and take excellent care of the guests. The owner, José Manuel, is extremely courteous and ensures both the guesthouse and its visitors are well looked after. If Booking.com allowed ratings higher than 10, I would certainly give it.

The spacious chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The house and the very quiet location were wonderful. Filomena who takes care of everything, is amazing! If you are willing to walk a bit up and down, that's your location.
