Great contact with the owner and contactless access is a massive plus. Ah, and of course, the cottage is well-equipped. It's difficult to see this as something I didn't like about the facility, but Zdiar is a Sleepy Hollow in the off-season, what can be considered as a plus (by us, at least). There is a grocery store nearby, about a 15-minute walk down the road ;) For lazybones or tired after outdoor activities, there's TV and high-speed internet ;) Definitely worth of visit.

We had a large room that included a couch. It's so nice to have a comfortable place to sit in the evening. We arrived several hours before check in, but the woman at reception let us park our car in the assigned spot. We knew we were going on a hike, and she was very helpful in answering our questions. Everyone who worked there was very nice. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The room is well equipped with dishes, refrigerator, microwave, etc. They even provided a container and soap to wash the dishes. The walls are a little thin, but we wear earplugs and slept well there. Highly recommend.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and the chalet offers ski storage space. The cottage was spotless, cosy, and perfectly located for exploring the area. Everything was well-maintained, and I felt right at home. Highly recommend and would gladly return!
