Vallettastay Old Lodge Apartment 6 terletak di Valletta, 4-minit berjalan kaki dari Universiti Malta - Kampus Valletta, 400m dari Teater Manoel, dan juga kurang dari 1 km dari Taman Upper Barrakka. This is an old building, very typical for Valetta, made of limestone blocks. But inside, it has totally been refurbished. The apartment is quite large, with a large bedroom, and an even larger kitchen/living room. The bed was very comfortable. Although just off Triq Republikka, it is well away from the tourist areas. And so it was quite quiet, which is really important to me. Another advantage is that it can be reached directly by car, which means no traipsing through Valetta with luggage. I have to say it was an incredibly nice place to stay. Check in was pretty well automated.Their instructions are clear, and there was really no issue getting in and making myself comfortable. There is only one small warning to issue. There is no elevator in the building and no employee to help you with your luggage. So if you cannot manage your luggage, due to age or disability, this is not the place for you. Also, the stairway steps, being ancient, are not even in size. They are mostly OK, but again, they could represent a real problem for age or disability. I’m 75, and was able to manage it, but I think it would be very difficult for many older people.
