It is surrounded by forest vegetation and creatures, and the lovely host will look for things to show you and tell you about. Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

My partner and I stayed 4 nights in the double story tree house, and our stay with Neranga and his family was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Impeccable hospitality unlike anything we have ever experienced. The breakfast each morning is incredible with each dish explained in detail, often sourced from their own garden. Neranga was also fantastic at answering any and all questions we had about it the south coast, where to visit, how to get around etc. There is plenty of wildlife on their property, including a variety of birds and monkeys. The tree house itself is very well built and well equipped with everything you need. It was nice being tucked away in a more rural setting as it is not difficult to arrange transport through PickMe, Uber, or TukTuks. We highly recommend Tree House-Midigama. We could. It have asked for better hosts and it made out stint along the South Coast that much more enjoyable. Neranga and his family do a remarkable job as hosts 🙌🏼

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. Location, just right on the beach. Room was very clean.

Ripple by the river mempunyai pemandangan taman, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Weligama, 2.1km dari Pantai Weligama. This property is like a safari. We saw so much wildlife during our stay. The Air conditioner works very good and the WiFi is strong.

Amazing location in green area. We spotted several animals while just sitting on the balcony (including monkeys, peacocks and kingfisher). The owners are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay very comfortable.

So many good things to say, just a few of them: - any needs are addressed and help is provided quickly, - nice family that tries to provide everything for your comfortable stay, - apartment is totally stunning, great design and facilities are well-equipped, - kitchen has everything you need for cooking on a daily basis, - clean room and bathroom, cozy blanket and beautiful wall paintings drawn by owner himself, wi-fi is acceptable, very good AC + fan, - you can see a lot of wild life since the house is in the jungle area (monkeys, chipmunks, many birds, river with crocodiles), - calm environment for quality rest, far from noisy roads, (exception - night from saturday to sunday), - room clean up every few days, - bike/bicycle rental and water delivery upon request for additional fee Overall, it's an amazing place to stay, I was carefully choosing and comparing many places in the similar price range in Weligama, and this one was the best option even though it's a bit far from city. You can totally go for it, won't regret!!!!!!!!!!!❤️
