Although I booked expecting moderate accommodations this camp delivered luxury!.. from the moment you are welcomed by the staff, the room amenities and overall comfort, to the extraordinary location -- just a couple of minutes to one of Masai Mara's entry gates... to the extraordinary food prepared by the chef... all exceeded my expectations.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. Amazing location, hospitality, food, game drives, & arrangements. We had our best time on vacation. Will definately be back once more. Mwangi, who was our driver to and from Nairobi, was excellent—very friendly and great company throughout our journey. All the staff were impeccable. The chef took great care of us by preparing very delicious meals. Jonathan, our safari guide, was very experienced and thanks to him we saw so many animals—an outstanding experience. The place was very clean and well-kept. Everything was excellent.

We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

They organized cultural activities at the property, also we had a movie night at the communal area. The staff and the management does everything to make your stay great. Every aspect of the stay felt very personalized. The cooking skills of the chef are amazing, the vegetarian food was delicious, though it’s worth doing the all inclusive option, since it’s cheaper than paying per meal. Would come back and recommend drunken elephant to anyone visiting Masai Mara.

Sarova Mara Game Camp is nestled within in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, surrounded by 2 streams the camp also features a exotic trees, a large fish pond and an Maasai village adjoining the camp. The service was absolutely amazing, all the staff were lovely and took very good care of us! The club tent was incredible, so big and lovely bathroom with a tub and shower! The food was also out of this world!

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden.

Each tent features a patio with a view of the Mara River. It comes with a seating area and the private bathroom includes a shower. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.
