There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Very clean and tidy. Close to Goryu ski resort, walkable distance although it’s a bit uphill. Otherwise you can take a shuttle. Nice breakfast too, you can also tell the owner if you have foot allergy so that can arrange suitable food for you.

Some accommodation includes a terrace and a seating area with flat-screen TV, as well as air conditioning and heating. At the chalet complex, certain units are equipped with a coffee machine and wine or champagne. Beautiful accommodation with excellent facilities. Plenty of space and very comfortable for bigger groups or families. Concierge team started a whatsapp chat group a day prior to check in and were responsive throughout our stay with any questions we had.

Quick walk to center of town , lovely breakfast and rooms were super clean . Most importantly, Chan was an amazing host!! He helped us in so many ways during our stay, even getting us to our snow monkey tour bus when we were running late . Wonderful stay!!

Property is located quite near to many places like Happo One, Lake Aoki, oide park and many more. So was very convenient to visit any place. Also there is Big Aeon shop at 5 min drive, A dining place GUSTO opp to Aeon shop. The property has ample qty of cutlery and utensils so that we can even cook whatever we needed.

There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go skiing and cycling nearby. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Taka and his wife are brilliant hosts. My family and friends have been coming here over the years and it was a highlight to stay here. The Onsens are fantastic after a day on the slopes, as well as relaxing in the cosy lounge room. Can't wait to be back!

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. The pension has a lovely onsen built into the main building we truly love soaking in at the end of an active day on the slopes. It's the perfect way to close the day. The couple who run the Pension are such nice, helpful people. Especially when it comes to organising/interfacing with travel for day trips or even grocery shopping. 100% recommend
