Don’t really know where to begin. Everything was perfect! Paula and Andreas are incredible hosts and took their time to talk us through the story of how Kalma came to be. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and had some great conversations. As for the villa itself, gosh it was stunning. Truly a luxury retreat in nature. The view from our room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfy. The services were top notch including amazing dinner delivery, delicious breakfast options and relaxing spa sessions. The 360 yoga shala view was stunning for sunrise, don’t miss it!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to stay here again! We had an amazing stay at Ariel Bungalows. Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

Location is great, and strategically placed.
