From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome – warm, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or anything we might need. The location is truly breathtaking: surrounded by lush jungle, yet perfectly situated as a base for exploring nearby waterfalls, heading to the beach, or enjoying a surf day in Dominical. They also know the hidden spots where you can see sloths and other wildlife – away from the crowds and mass tourism. The apartments are spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was the stunning pool with its peaceful atmosphere, as well as the private jungle trail on the property. Walking along the path felt magical – with the chance to spot wildlife and a small stream with a charming waterfall waiting at the end. Paradise Lodge is the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and inspired, and we would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting this part of Costa Rica.

Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.

On a rainy and chilly night we came back to hot water bottles on our beds and appreciated the attention so much. A special mention should be given to the landscaping and gardening staff thanks to whom the place is such an Eden. I hope they get regular raises! Rooms were comfy and spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the other meals we took there were also excellent. The café also has some lovely choices.
