Open from June 2016, MyCUBE by MYSTAYS Asakusa Kuramae is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from Kuramae Station on the Toei Asakusa and Oedo lines. The space in the cube was good and spacious enough. Secured luggage space under the bed was also great, cat fit 2luggage. It was a comfortable stay, ofcourse we cannot avoid some noise (luggage opening) at night but still it is a good place to stay 👍👍👍

Cabins are spacious, you can carry your luggage inside and there is a wooden safe where you can lock valuable objects (it is as large as an A4 notebook, so if you have a 13" PC is fine, 14" is also fine if you accept it will lean on one side of the box a little bit). In my spot there was one USB-A outlet and a couple japanese outlets. Air conditioning was on when I arrived. You are provided with a pajama, two towels and a big duvet. Unlimited soft ice cream and soft drinks available, and one portion of something I don't remember because I didn't have it, maybe like one of those noodles boxes one needs to rehydrate with boiling water. Clean toilets, showers, sinks and clean place in general. The curtain door closes properly.

We were so happy that our Japan travel started in Tomariya! The staff is really nice, the bathrooms are clean and very spatious and the surrounding area gives you a really good first insight into Tokyo's amazing mix between busy urban streets and quiet low-scale urban neighbourhoods.
