This 2-star campground offers full-day security and a minimarket. The campground also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We loved the area, the lake nearby, and the cabin itself. It was perfect for our family of five.

Other meal options are available at the on-site café, and groceries and smaller items can be bought at the camping site shop. The camp was not crowded. Visiting other camping sites in the past, cabins, tents and mobile homes are so close to each other that it becomes too much. Here there was space, a lot of trees, the lake and plenty of sports to do. The cabin we booked for the family was spacious and clean. The staff at the welcome was very friendly with the bonus of a very cute little dog. We had our meals by the lake and possibly to BBQ is there but we were not prepared. I will keep it in mind for the next visit. It was worth deciding to camp here and exceeded my expectations by far.

Guests at the campground will be able to enjoy activities in and around Eskilstuna, like hiking. If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and fishing are possible in the surroundings and Vilsta Camping and Cottages can arrange a bicycle rental service. Comfortable, basic, accommodation. Fine for 2 adults but would be crowded for 6. Quiet location. Good shower.
