We had such an amazing stay at the Letterkenny cabin! We stayed 3 nights. Our hosts were so generous and accommodating. The cabin itself is so cozy and has all the amenities you could need for a few days. The proximity to hiking areas like Errigal in the Glenveagh National Park was great too, no more than 40 minutes drive.

If you stay here, ask Marion or Declan about climbing Aghla mountain. It’s not a defined trail and the path can get a little boggy, but it’s absolutely worth it for the view of Lough Finn below - and you can be guaranteed to have the whole mountain to yourself. Marion was a saint and made me some delicious apple scones for when I arrived. And Declan was kind enough to give me a lift into Donegal town on the morning I left, while educating me about some local folklore. If I had the time and money I would be very happy staying for much longer!

The host was very helpful and you can get a breakfast at the pantry on main St, Tea and coffee are complimentary on your stay . I would highly recommend staying here The locals are very friendly also, there's lots to see nearby and a beautiful beach is a short distance away, perfect for a break.
