We loved the owner, Michael arranged everything for us and made our time unforgettable. He gave honest prices. The room was very good. The location was for us perfect, it is near the bay but not to close. So there was no noice in the evening. They have restaurant deals were you can go, which was really nice!

Makany Makanak Camp is located in the heart of National Park Abu Galloum. The place is a sanctuary where all elements co-exist in balance and the very essence of life is lived. A brotherhood of men, living from their heart form the home basis of a (global) community with brothers and sisters from surrounding camps and from all over the world. I did not know what to expect when booking my journey in this place. What I found was home, family, community, unconditional love and caretaking, protection, safety and a free flow of divine inspiration and creative expression. Healthy nourishing foods are slow cooked throughout the day with so much loving energy and fresh local products. Everyone who comes here is invited to step into a process of co-living an co-creating. Eating together and gathering around the campfire at night making music and singing. It’s a place to connect with deep (inner) silence and peace. For healing and being. It does not get any more real than this. This place is for people that can appreciate and embrace the real luxuries and natural gifts of life. For people that can treat this place of harmony with the respect it deserves and who have the ability and intention to adapt to the rhythm of natural living, this is paradise. It’s not a 5-star resort as you find in other places. This place offers a 5-dimensional experience of co-creation focussed on free flow and now-living. Flowing with abundance by living simple. As a single traveling woman, I have felt immensely safe residing in the loving home and care of Mostafa, Osama, Abu Ali and others around. This enabled me to dive deep into myself and found fundamental answers to existential life questions and deep healing. I’ve learned so much from their embodied wisdom of authentic living in balance with all aspects of life, healthy boundaries and sharing unconditionally within community. Volunteer opportunity! 🤩 Beautiful city for staying a couple of weeks, I was giving some Spanish and English classes as a volunteer for the accomodations in the hostel. A lot of free time during the day, classes normally at afternoon/night.

Outstanding experience and astounding staff members

A very warm welcome from Ahmed and the whole hosting team as well as from fellow guests. Cosmos Camp sure has managed to create a unique atmosphere which will make you feel cut off from but at the same time connected to the rest of the world, in the unique Ras Abu Gallum setting. A special mention for the food which was excellent and the possibility to sleep basically wherever you want (in your hut, in the hammac, on the balcony, on the beach...) My only regret was to not be able to stay for longer!

Super comfortable bed, best price for a room with double bed and private bathroom! Not luxury but perfect for one night stay. Very safe and quiet.
