It was one of the most beautiful properties we ever stayed . Privacy, practical, beauty, surroundings, nature. it's just on point. The last 2 km drive is via non Pave Road. we rented a small car. it's doable. Just reach before the sunset. You have a beautiful view from the bed . They arranged a nice fire outdoor, has games,mini bar. Everything you need. The property doesn't have any restaurant but they can arrange the food delivery, i would suggest you go to the town to eat. You need an internet or local number to communicate as you're a bit far from a reception area but it's worth it. The property has a 50-minute walking trail around the property via a nature river. Breakfast is served in an outdoor area with smiling staff's. They are always available via whatsap.

A spacious bamboo cabin built with love. Here, you can enjoy nature while having a good base to visit the hot springs and local town. A nice view over the valley and birds of every color. Alejandro and his father Guillermo go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. They speak excellent English and by the time we left, they truly felt like family. Don't go for the anonymous hotel, stay here and enjoy life to the fullest.

There are so many great things to say about Finca La Playa but I have to start with the hosts. They turned the trip from visiting to Salento to visiting family in Salento. Both of them were so inviting and considerate. They took care of all of our questions, organized tours for us, gave us great suggestions and managed travel to and from the city. Oh and the food. We had dinner there every night, each night a different meal and each night so delicious. My wife and I are both so grateful to them and their Finca. It has been the highlight of our entire time in Columbia.

The nature there is beautiful. The owner is really nice and helpful. The ranch is located really close to Salento (bus stop right in front of the ranch). I highly recommend horse riding at the ranch.

Rafael was an excellent host. The cabana on his property is entirely built from recycled materials and has a lot of character. He was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly, and we joined his family for some Christmas celebrations down the hill. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching birds while eating breakfast on the balcony each morning (Andean Motmots, Tropical Screech Owls, and countless species of tanagers). Easy access to Otun Quimbaya. Others have noted that there was no hot water, but the shower works fine, it just requires a little finesse.
