Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

Teniqua Treetops is a tented treetop resort set in the lush forest along the Garden Route between Knysna and Sedgefield. Everything single thing. It was an exceptionally good stay and I can't wait to go back! What a wonderful experience.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making our stay unforgettable. They gave us wonderful tips for wildlife spotting on the property, and indeed, during our stay we were able to watch zebras and antelope through the camp’s own telescope. If you're looking for an immersive nature experience with privacy, this is the perfect place. We will definitely return – Zandfontein is a place where you can truly unwind and recharge.
