Southern Sands Ecolodge offers tented accommodation within the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, located on the banks of the mighty Olifants River. This is the best spot to be if you want to visit the blyde river canyon. Terry and Robina are just the most wonderful host, they made our journey unique and unforgettable. The tent is very comfortable and it is next the to the olifant river, so you just hear nature all around you. Amazing!

Situated within the Mabula Private Game Reserve, Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp consists of five luxury tents. The camp features a small outdoor swimming pool, as well as a guest lounge and bar area. The staff were brilliant, the tents were way better than we expected. The stay was pure luxury.

The luxury tent we stayed in was very comfortable. The mattress on the bed was of high quality, ensuring three nights of good rest. Everything was very clean and neat. The bathroom area above the shower is open, so in winter it might get a bit chilly, but we were aware of this beforehand, and it was still lovely to take an early morning shower. The bathroom is modern, and the large bathtub was definitely a bonus. The only two things I missed were a mirror in the sleeping area for blow-drying hair, and perhaps an extra small cabinet or surface to place personal items, as there is more than enough space. The staff were exceptional — very friendly and helpful. The chef's food was absolutely outstanding! We will definitely return.
