My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Safari Lodge. Our 3-nights booking included 4 game drives at Amakhala and a daytrip to Addo elephant park - we managed go see all the animals in our bucket list including lion, cheetah, giraffe, elephant, zebra, rhino, buffalo and many more. Our ranger Bradley was very knowledgeable and talented in finding the animals, we couldn't have asked for more! The food was tasty and often served as a la carte which we really enjoyed. The service was impeccable and the rooms very comfortable.

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Gorgeous tented camp set in a lush area, lovely main building with excellent meals served by friendly, attentive staff, tents set off individually for privacy, each with a sweeping view of the preserve. Our guide, Lenny, was very experienced and we learned much about the many animals we saw - lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, many kinds of antelope, warthog, more! We did 6 3 -hour drives; suggest booking enough time to do at least 4-6.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. Our three days at Bush Lodge were amazing. The accommodation was perfect (we appreciated the private plunge pool and loved the large comfortable bed). The meals varied and delicious. Most of all were the six game drives with James (JD) at the helm. We saw a wide variety of animals including 4 of the Big 5. Thanks to a wonderful team for making our little vacation memorable.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. An unique experience, we enoyed every second of this trip. Thank you so much Riam, Johan and Dave😊

Gorah Elephant Camp is situated in the malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park. It features a spacious swimming pool and an open patio offering views of the water hole. Free Wi-Fi is available. Fabulous game drives, wonderful food and very attentive and flexible staff.
