Staying in a tent during our safari was an unforgettable experience! The tent was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable and cozy atmosphere in the heart of nature. The staff were absolutely amazing – so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The highlight of the evening was the delicious vegetarian dinner, which was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it was a perfect blend of adventure and comfort, with excellent service and great food. Also the jeep provided for the safari was very comfortable, making the whole trip even more enjoyable .

We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. Yala Lake View Cabanas is situated near the Yodha Lake. Located in Tissamaharama, it's takes a 15 minute drive to Yala National Park and 20 minutes drive to Kataragama and Kirinda Beach. Loved the surrounding and peaceful environment with birds ,exceptional cabanas ..magical place Special mention to Sampath the care taker was extremely nice and did a wonderful evening setting for us for drinks and dinner on his own accord

When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.
