If you are travelling to Mount Fuji, this is a MUST STAY!!! Prior to arriving, my fiancé and I were feeling a bit hesitant as we did not have a car, and were unsure how we were going to access restaurants/ the main town. BUT, this was not an issue at all. If you are also concerned about this, please don’t be!!! We were collected from Kawaguchiko Station at 5pm on the day of our arrival. The staff were so accomodating and flexible to collect us despite 5pm being outside of their shuttle collection times. We really appreciated this. Each day, the staff operate a shuttle to the main town, leaving at 10am and then collecting you again at 3.30pm or 4.30pm to return to the campsite. We used this service on our full day at Mount Fuji and it was perfect. We didn’t feel like we needed a car at all. The staff at Kawaguchiko Station are so knowledgeable and helpful to support you to find your way around the main town. There is a free shuttle service to main parts of the town which we used to spend our day at a traditional Japanese onsen. We purchased breakfast at the campsite both mornings that we were there. It was delicious and I definitely recommend this as if you don’t bring your own food, you won’t be able to access food until you use the shuttle and get to the main town. We chose not to purchase the BBQ dinner as we thought this was quite pricey. Instead, we use the Cafe at the campsite to order some wood fire pizza’s. The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm. We pre-planned and ordered our pizza’s at about 5pm. We then kept these stored until we were ready for dinner and reheated them on the barbecue. Much cheaper and still delicious. So if you also don’t have a car, there is definitely still ways to access food with a bit of pre-planning. Our campsite was warm, cosy, clean and the view of Mt Fuji is breathtaking!!!! I don’t think you can find a more incredible view than at Qoonel!!!

The fact that just open the curtains and you were able to see the Mt. Fuji made it everything worth it! The space was amazing and you weren’t very far enough from downtown.

We had a fabulous time at Minenohana - we were blessed with exceptional weather so to see Fuji so perfectly brought tears to my eyes. The staff were so kind and warm to the children, as well. The tents were very comfortable - we were there in April so it wasn’t too hot or cold. The bbq was very plentiful - lots of beef, pork and chicken (perhaps vegetarians would need to sort out another arrangement). Would definitely suggest to take the tents located on the higher level to get the best views. The bonfire and the marshmallow roasting at night were a lovely touch, as well.

One of the most amazing places I've ever stayed! The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. THE VIEW from the tent was like a postcard. Terrace was also very nice. Easy walk from the train station.

Terletak 2.9km dari Fujikyu Highland, Glamping Resort Varie menawarkan taman, teres dan penginapan yang berhawa-dingin dengan patio dan WiFi percuma. The facilities were very nice and clean, staff was super helpful and very friendly and we loved having a barbecue in front of mount Fuji.

We stayed at the dome and it was so comfortable, warm, had everything we needed. The shared bathrooms are very clean. The meals deserve separate attention - wagyu beef, sashimi, Japanese specialty dishes… so delicious and the portions were huge. A cute and pleasant surprise was a projector in the dome, we could relax with a movie after an active day outdoors! The staff were really going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They also provided a shuttle to pick us up to and from the Kawaguchiko station, and one extra time when the traffic in town was problematic and the public buses weren’t working.
