Could have stayed many nights without the novelty wearing off. Short walk (~10min) to the village centre with many bars and restaurants.

This is a centrally located hotel and it has integral secure parking which is a bonus but is at extra cost. The staff were very helpful. It is a shortish walk from the lovely old town where there are lots of good places to eat and drink. While we were there, we took a bus to a nearby seaside place at Marin. The beach was a bit of a hike from the bus stop but was pretty. However, there were no sun beds or parasols for hire.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and characterful home. It’s located in a small and very scenic village about 20 minutes drive inland from Pontevedra. We loved relaxing in the pool and hammocks in the garden after exploring the many things to see in Galicia. Jesus was also a very accommodating and friendly host and was more than happy to go above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Pedro was a very kind and helpful host. The location is perfect, very close to the beaches, one for sunrise and the other for the sunset. The breakfast was great with a lot of coffee and fresh squeezed juices. Also a fresh made cake by Pedro’s mother. The rooms are comfortable and clean, as well as bathrooms. I can only recommend this place.

Gorgeous ocean view with the sunset before dinner. Friendly cats and dogs. Wonderful hosts. We missed the house walking by 2km. We called the owners and the lady came to pick us up.🙏🙏🙏

This was my 3rd time to stay at Alvear. Always a pleasure. Clean comfortable. Great bed. Hot shower. Washing machine!!! Right in the Camino path. Awesome restaurant down the street. Bistro 78.

Beautiful. Modern. Clean. Has everything you need. Great hot shower after a long hot day of the Camino. Had our own private bathroom. Great bed. So much space. Beautiful area. Could see the black bull from our room. Great Restuarant 4 doors down same owner as the hostel.

We loved our stay. This is a newly renovated cottage. A beautiful place with a lovely cozy room. Nice view from our room where we could see the sunset. It was all perfectly clean. The owner/staff was super friendly. Right at the Camino. After a long day of walking we could chill in the big garden where they put some hammocks. No food but they offer some drinks and there is a restaurant close by. Would totally recommend the place.
