Located in Colonia del Sacramento’s historic area, Posada Plaza Mayor offers panoramic views. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided. Puerta de la Ciudadela gateway is 100 metres away. Rooms were comfortable, very clean and well decorated. Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. We made use of the free bikes to explore.

An outdoor swimming pool and rooms with iPod docking stations can be enjoyed just 100 metres from Colonia’s historical circuit. Fabulous staff. Truly - so kind, friendly, helpful, caring, sweet . You'd stay just for them alone! Muchas gracias. Very comfortable rooms and bed. Lovely warm shower. Heating perfect (it is winter at the moment!). Very good WiFi. Sufficient sockets for plugs (which take most foreign adaptors too). Lovely building slap back in old centre. Didn't have breakfast but looked nice. Coffee, drinking water, some liquors offered in lobby. All in all, a great stay. Wish I could have stayed longer! But, I'll be back!

With a red-tiled Spanish gallery overlooking the swimming pool, this colonial-style inn in Uruguay features free WiFi access in the entire property. The location is great!! Rooms (bed) very big and confi. Breakfast and coffee delicious. Pool is small but I was able to enjoy it a little big after the breakfast with no other people. Anyway you should be exploring beautiful Colonia and not sit at the pool :-)

Rooms are well appointed with individual heat/Ac, beds are comfy, lots of hot water & great water pressure, super Wifi, flat screen TVs with HDMI connections. A wonderful breakfast room! Eggs cooked to order, ham & cheese, variety of baked goods & bread, fresh natural orange juice, bottomless hot coffee & hot milk & hot H2O, yoghurts and fruit bowl, filtered H2O. Cheery room with natural light from the walled terrace & comfy sofas. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet...as is the quaint city. Glad we stayed for four days in this historic hotel!

Located in Carmelo, 700 metres from Sere, Bemar Carmelo Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Everything was perfect. Bed unusually comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff very accommodating and friendly. Pool was lovely.
