The property was clean and well maintained. It was in an ideal spot to explore the big island. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was never an issue! The host was great at communicating.

This place is amazing! We were there for 3 days and it definitely wasn’t long enough. The clothing optional black sand beach is incredible. Matt went above and beyond by finding two people to do a couples massage for us! The hot tub was the perfect way to relax every evening but the outdoor shower was my favorite place. Do something good for yourself and go stay here a couple days! 💜

Helpful staf that picked and dropped me in Pahoa. Pretty good wifi. I had to make a video call (which I usually don't do and hate) and it worked fine. Room was comfortable. The road is in bad condition but regular cars can definitely make it. Clean. Very remote. Again, I liked it, but maybe not for everyone.

The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Hale Hualalai mempunyai pemandangan laut, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Kailua-Kona, 8.9km dari Taman Negara Bersejarah Kaloko-Honokohau. Lots of animals. Good ecosystem and rich vegetation. Geckos are cute; cats, chickens, cows. One specific chicken would come up to the property and lay eggs on a particular spot. Eggs look healthy and huge :D Lots of fruit trees. Owners are good people with great hospitality and nice communications. Rooms are clean, spacious, with a nice patio. beds are sooo comfortable. (The combination of sheets, comforters and mattress is something my friend and I really liked.) Weather is pleasant, view is amazing. fruits and breakfast are delicious.
