Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, La Quinta Inn & Suites Carlsbad is located in the former Sunan Airport. Free WiFi access is available. We were visiting Carlsbad Caverns National Park and needed a place to stay close by so we could see the bat flight at night. I was not expecting such a wonderful stay in such a small town, but this hotel was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Vanessa at the front desk held onto our bags while we made an early morning trip to see the caverns. The breakfast bar was expansive with lots of healthy choices. Our room was very nice and there was a great home style restaurant across the street. Vanessa also recommended a nice municipal park near the river where we could eat our lunch. Great value too!
