He even made sure we had some charcoal to light the bbq. Close by there's a restaurant at Flamingo Beach that serves a great fish lunch.

Staff organized a taxi for the airport early in the morning and even prepared a small breakfast at 5 in the morning which we unfortunately needed to skip due to the early hour. The hotel feels like a cosy home and in my opinion was much preferable to the all inclusive hotels along Djerba beach, especially if you are looking for something more authentic and not for a beach/party hotel.

Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in djerba.

We also had dinner at Dar Bibine more evenings than we ate out, and that was excellent too. Erriadh is not on the coast, but it is easy to get anywhere on the island from there using the cheap and easily found taxis. It does have marvellous and extensive street art which kept us pleasantly occupied. The world's oldest surviving Synagogue is a short walk away and worth visiting. The local people are very friendly. The air-conditioned suites at the Maison Leila chambres d hotes each have a living room with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom. The property, staff, rooms, breakfast - everything was great! Would gladly stay here again if back in the area.
