The owner let us have early check in and late check out due to our flights schedule and was super nice about it. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Christmas dinner, and was a cozy place to spend the holidays. It was our home away from home!

The restaurant is very good. Atmosphere is amazing. A true dream place to stay. The staff are lovely people. The cabins are decorated lovely and spacious and have everything for you’re comfort.

Sítio da Assumada offers accommodation in Lajes das Flores, a 3-minute walk from the beach. Free private parking is available on site. Every room has a flat-screen TV. The place is situated 5 minutes drive from the town, Ricardo was very helpful and welcomed us at the door providing us with a lot of information and ideas that we could do during our 1 night stay.

The view and beautiful surroundings are incredible and would be enough to make the stay worth it, but on top of that the house is lovely and very well taken care of, rooms are newly refurbished with great attention to detail and the one I stayed in has everything you might need, including kitchen and appliances. Owners are super nice and friendly, and have fresh bread and sometimes other fresh products for the guests. You can see waterfalls from the couch! Nice little cherry on top: relax in the jacuzzi in front of the ocean and mountains or walk 10 mins to the nearest waterfall and take a swim in the natural pool. What more could one want?
