I picked the places I stayed at on my Oman road trip very carefully. All, were as expected and amazing in their own way, but the Fort Guesthouse was outstanding. The authenticity and location in a residential area off the Cornish was perfect. It was so nice to spend my first 2 nights in Oman in a place so comfortable and easy to walk around and begin the journey with peace and safety. Places to eat nearby and the fish market and the views of the sea. I was so totally happy there. PS I loved opening and looking out the windows and the WI-FI was so good.

Set in Muscat, 120 km from Al Mouj Beach, Wadi Al Arbeieen Resort offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a garden. Every room includes a patio with a garden view. Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! Set right in the mountains, it’s a magical experience! The additional touches of the pool and canoeing in the wadi was gorgeous. The food was also so delicious!! I can’t recommend this place enough!

We stayed at JW Marriott for 6 days . It’s Muscat’s best kept secret, Nancy samy at the reception was an angel , she helped with taxi booking etc . Sanjay at the reception. The staff at breakfast in the coffee lounge was wonderful. We deeply thank Gopika , the chef , kitchen team , Rati , Jake , Naveen & Shamol made it a dream vacation for my elderly mum , son & me . From the bottom of my heart thanking JW marriot for this wonderful holiday.

We will come back when we travel back to muscat! Everything was super clean breakfast was really good, a lot of different things to choose from. Room was super clean.
