The location and scenery is spectacular. Loved Jack's bay so much. Very quiet and serene at night. Lots of little touches made the stay special - matching and tastefully picked out crockery and cutlery, sharp knives, very comfortable bed with quality linen. Even chip and dip with a bottle of cold bubbles on arrival! Bbq clean and with all the accoutrements - even cleaning wipes. They have thought of everything!! Thank you so much!!

All units in the aparthotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Units are fitted with a private bathroom, while selected rooms also feature a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave. We stayed at the property in mid-August 2024 for two nights in the Three-Bedroom Apartment; literally, we had the whole upper floor to ourselves. It was like staying at home, where you had everything you needed to stay comfortable. If you prepare well, you will enjoy the stay and serenity of the area. Please be reminded again that the supermarket and gas station were not closed or in the area. A physical credit card was needed, but no Apple Pay.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Absolutely stunning and peaceful location, exactly the relaxing spot I was looking for. Plenty of pretty walks in the area and sea lions right on the beach below! Beach access directly in front of the place and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. The owners were the most welcoming, helpful, and sweetest people I’ve met. The facilities were great and the place was so homey. Didn’t want to leave!

Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion. Guests enjoy free use golf clubs. Very cute well set out location. Loved it. Walking distance to surat bay.
