Hotel De Walvisvaarder lies exactly in the centre of the beautiful Dutch island Terschelling. We had a great experience in a quiet and comfortable setting at a convenient location. The dinners at the hotel restaurant were very good. They had so many bicycles and the rental service was well-organized. The hotel personnel was very friendly and kind. I would choose this hotel again on a next visit.

The modern Hotel Bornholm is centrally located on Terschelling. The surrounding area is ideal for walks and bike routes and there is a sauna, a fitness area and a Turkish steam bath. Clean modern comfortable very nice people right on the main road.

Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Strandhotel Terschelling B&B is located in Formerum, a small village directly along the beach and the sea. Parking is free of charge. We loved the location, completely surrounded by the dunes, it felt isolated while not actually being completely far from everything. There is actually a nice spot for food and drinks right on the beach nearby. We also loved the vibe and atmosphere of the main living area where the breakfast is also served, and the view from the room! Absolutely loved it all
