Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Location was great, close to the main part of town (3-4 min walk) but not right in the hustle and bustle. Air conditioning in the rooms was great and a must, it is super hot in SJDS.

The room was cozy and tidy, the common areas are very pretty and clean. The price is great, most of the places to stay in this area are very expensive but this one isn't. The staff was very friendly, they let us stay after the checkout so that we could spend some more time at the beach. They also recommended a place to go for dinner where we had a good time :) The beach is beautiful, it has a very wide coast and naturally formed pools.

Located in Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo offers beachfront accommodation 34 km from Maderas Volcano and provides various facilities, such as a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a tour desk are featured. I had the best time with Tony and Daniela, they were very kind, welcoming and warm. They make you feel part of their family and have so many stories to tell. Daniela makes THE BEST breakfasts (I miss them). If I go back to Ometepe I'm definitely staying with them again. The room was nice and clean and at night you can hear a symphony of crickets and other elements of nature due to being away from the city. A really nice experience. Also, there's a beach right outside the hostel where you can see the most beautiful sunsets. It's a bit far from the center of the town (a 20 min walk) which is not too bad, just something to take into consideration. If you're renting a bike like most people do it's not going to make a difference for you, but I was on foot. Fortunately, Tony was very kind and picked me up on a motorbike at the port and took me back at the end of my stay.

We could have not dreamt of a better place to get stranded. Sure, the way up to the hostel is steep and rocky, but so is life and you will be rewarded by a fresh breeze, likeminded people and the friendliest staff on earth (s/o to Philipp, Diego and Larissa). Whether you surf or not, you will enjoy your time as the team and fellow travellers organise regular events. We'll be back soon.

I loved the staff, the pool, the location is walkable from the ferry terminal. The food is really good. Such good value also, no complaints at all!
