The breakfast was terrific. The fruit juice was fresh daily. We enjoyed the extra eggs. The nutella crepes were the best. The staff were just very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the fans were very helpful in dealing with the heat. The bed nets were of great quality and kept the mosquitoes away. The pool was spotless. The shuttle to and from the airport was very timely and professional. I would highly recommend this quiet beach and this wonderful resort.

Corto Novo overlooks a mangrove forest between Dzamandzar and Andilana beach opposite Nosy Sakatia that is also 30km from the airport. Our host Jean-Louis and his team were very attentive and served up tasty seafood (and more) as well as the best Caipirinhas and coldest beers we had on our trip. On request, crab was prepared in two ways (Madagascar Sauce, Spicy Wok Butter) for our first night's meal and it was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. The property has a variety of accommodation options ranging from pre-erected tents to a room with an en-suite bathroom and wall-mounted room fan, where we stayed. The shower water was hot and the water pressure strong unlike many other establishments we stayed at on the Nosys (islands). The small swimming pool with ample tree shade offered respite from the afternoon heat and a refreshing way to start the day. As a bonus, there are two well-behaved and friendly house dogs, Gaston and Charlie. Sunsets were stunning since Corto Novo faces due west. No light pollution meant spectacular star-gazing too. You'd think that being so close to the mangroves would result in more mosquitoes, but they were few and far between. Affordable, comfortable and with all the essentials you need, you won't be disappointed with a stay at Corto Novo. We'll be back.

From the moment you arrive on the boat is a whole experience. Gerard the owner and the rest of the staff are super friendly. Great food from the restaurant and good prices (many vegetarian and vegan options available very yummy and homemade). The view and facilities from the hotel are great, the garden amazingly well maintained and trees with lemurs around. Big rooms and very clean. Definitely recommended. Ps. Price for the boat to get there is extra 13 euros roundtrip per person.

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant. This placed exceeded our expectations, it is so beautiful, picturesque, it has a chill atmosphere, it is so so conformable, I can just stay here writing positive adjectives to describe it. The view from both the room and the pool is unbelievable, it mesmerizes you. The staff is friendly, even though we did not spoke french they were so professional and tried to communicate with us in the best way possible. You can order breakfast, lunch or diner and it will be served in your room since there is no restaurant. We loved this option, we had dinner every night there, it is so private, plus you have the beautiful view. Booking advertises this a 2 stars hotel, but honestly this place is way better than 4 starts hotels I have stayed at. With no hesitation I would recommend this place.

Happy Komba Lodge mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Ampasindava. Beautiful very new, modern and nice looking Bungalows with astonishing view from our Terrasse (had a bungalow on the top). Very good restaurant with best breakfast we had in our trip! Excellent food and reasonable prices. Warmly and in every situation helpful staff, especially to mention Fahouzia and Jaque!!! Loved to use the SUP and Kayak, snorkeling in front with turtles. Excellent price for value! Highly recommend! Thank you very much!!!
