Peaceful location. The staff went out of their way including making me breakfast for an early departure. The dinner buffet was actually quite good and reasonably priced.

It was wonderful to be immersed in the sounds of nature, making it feel like an extension of the safari experience. The rooms, especially those on the first floor, are spacious and very comfortable. The food was good, with both à la carte and buffet options available. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool was well-maintained.

We saw everything, he is so knowledgeable about everything, he found the best spot for us, including the traditional Sir Lanka lunch with an outstanding view of the lake. My stay in this house felt like a dream. The entrance to the room is surrounded by greenery, giving the impression of being in the middle of the jungle. We also had a safari organized with them, led by a young and capable guide, and it was a wonderful experience. Breakfast in the national park was not only very pleasant but also delicious. Dinner, however, was not satisfying compared to other meals we had in Sri Lanka — the portion of chicken was very small, and overall the food felt a bit lacking.

The owner was super nice and helpful. He built all these houses by himself and tried his best to make you comfortable. Welcome fresh juice on arrival. The house is simple but made with care and the bed was huge and comfortable. The dinner was delicious. Also we suggest to book a safari with the owner.

He has much knowledge of the animals and has eagle eyes so he spots anything you are looking for. 10/10
